In April 2010, members of the Etsy Metal Clay Team joined together to create their very own handmade charm reflecting each team member's individual style. Enough charms were created so that each member could share with each other and there would be 2 charms remaining for a charity of their choosing. The Team has generously donated a bracelet to benefit Autism Speaks.

Autism Speaks was founded in February 2005 by Bob and Susan Wright, grandparents of a child with Autism. Since then Autism Speaks has grown into the nation's largest autism and science organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
